[Knock, Knock] Interview with MSCHF from Room 702
For over 10 years, in the room representing Korea's street brand 미스치프MSCHF, the Flagship Store Mix flows, harmoniously welcomed by large plants and lighting. You can find magazines, artist collaboration posters, and various large and small items made by Mischief.
Experience Mischief closely at home rather than an editing shop with the exhibition <Knock, Knock>. We've talked about the brand's values and direction. Get some hints on how to harmonize your space with your favorite brand by your side.

Q. It's been over 10 years since the brand MSCHF was born. I'm intrigued by both its independent path and collaborations. There must be many offers, so what criteria do you use to decide on collaborations? Also, I'm curious about how the collaboration with Mangrove came about.
While external conditions or schedules can make it difficult sometimes, I usually go forward if I think it will be a fun project. I am often drawn to collaborations with brands or artists that have distinct qualities different from MSCHF or possess unique colors.
The proposal from Mangrove, being an exhibition that showcases a clearly defined space for co-living houses aimed at single-person households, was intriguing enough. Since it came at a time when our lifestyle line, COLLECTIVE, was being launched, we had no reason to turn it down.
Q. What image do you want to convey through this MSCHF room?
A cool and comfortable mood filled with MSCHF's unique personality.
Q. Among the various items, what would you recommend to the residents?
While the space was so neat that all products blended well, I think the body pillow long cushion or square mirror are highly functional items that perfectly fit Mangrove's room size.

Q. What was the main aspect you considered or paid attention to while designing the space?
Since it's a space for one person, I pondered how to make it more distinct and comfortable. First, I moved the table, which was long next to the wardrobe, to in front of the window to secure a spacious area. I paid attention to giving a fresh feeling with MSCHF's large rugs and big posters.

Q. MSCHF is involved not only in clothing and home products but also in practical movements (Reversible Round) and culture (MAGO, Live mix, etc.). Can we get any hints about MSCHF's future direction?
We are exploring many approaches due to our environmental concerns. The reason for not launching on a seasonal basis but working on project-based initiatives started from this thought. We are planning in a sustainable direction, mixing and matching upcoming with past projects, so that we remain timely instead of outdated over time.
Q. The small performances held at the MSCHF house located at Dosan Park were fun. Do you plan to expand the experiences outside of store expansions or showrooms?
We have various lifestyle items planned to be introduced through the MSCHF COLLECTIVE line. We look forward to the day when we can showcase a living space solely styled with the COLLECTIVE line. Meanwhile, we hope for more collaborations introducing MSCHF items in exciting spaces like Mangrove.
We are also planning various events that you can enjoy at the Apgujeong flagship store, and ultimately aim to create a cultural complex space where we can experience various fields we are interested in, beyond just fashion.
